Together with his friend Pam von Munching, William Langhout cycled between 1927 and 1933 with some regularity thru the port of Amsterdam. As a lover of ships he always brought his camera along to make pictures of all kinds of vessels. After more than eighty years a selection of these pictures are published.

The maritime images captured by William Langhout give a wonderful maritime view of the port of Amsterdam to the late twenties and early thirties of the twentieth century!
