Wartime Disasters at Sea. Every passenger ship loss in World Wars I and II

FICHA TÉCNICA

During the First and Second World Wars more than 500 passenger ships of many nationalities were lost, resulting in the deaths of some 50,000 people. A large number were sunk folllowing torpedo strikes, while others were hit by surface shellfire or aerial bombardment, or were scuttled. Here -dramatically illustrated, and presented for the first time in one volume- are details of every deepsea passenger carrying vessel engaged either in regular commercial service or in termporary auxiliary duties to have been lost during those conflicts.
